Olivier Giroud scored a decisive 2nd goal for Arsenal, as they shocked defending champions Manchester City with a 2-0 win at the Etihad Stadium.

The Gunners went ahead with a Cazorla penalty, who the turned provider, as he found Giroud with the French hitman doing the rest as he headed past Hart to seal the three points, & put them in contention of a Champions League spot.

PSG's David Luiz was on target as they recorded a 4-2 win at home to Evian to keep alive their title aspirations.

Evian took a shock lead, before the Brazilian central defender powered home a header from a corner to bring the scores level.

England striker Rickie Lambert sealed all three points for Liverpool, as they were 2-0 away winners at Aston Villa.

Lambert, who has found opportunities a little difficult at his boyhood club since his transfer from Southampton, struck with 15 minutes to go, arrowing in a shot from the edge of the area to add to his strike partner Borini's first half goal & take the Reds up to 7th in the table.


A Dwight Gayle brace rescued new manager Alan Pardew's 100% record, as Crystal Palace came from 2-0 down to defeat Burnley 3-2.

Burnley were 2-0 up before the 20th minute, before Gayle fired home from Zaha's cross, before Puncheon equalised just after half-time.

Gayle left it late to score the winner, his 10th of the season, controlling a long ball before drilling past the goalkeeper.
